Day-by-Day Itinerary
Udaipur → Jodhpur (260 km | ~5 hrs)
Morning departure from Udaipur. Drive through the Aravalli highlands. En route optional stop at Ranakpur Jain temples. Arrive Jodhpur by late afternoon. Visit Mehrangarh Fort at golden hour.
Jodhpur Sightseeing + → Jaisalmer (285 km | ~5 hrs)
Morning in Jodhpur — Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan Palace exterior. Post lunch drive to Jaisalmer through the flat Thar Desert. Watch the landscape turn golden as you enter the desert. Arrive Jaisalmer by evening.
Jaisalmer Sightseeing + Sam Sand Dunes
Morning exploring Jaisalmer — the living fort, Patwon ki Haveli, Salim Singh Haveli, Gadisar Lake. Evening drive to Sam Sand Dunes (45 km). Camel ride at sunset. Overnight at desert camp under millions of stars.
Jaisalmer → Jodhpur (285 km | ~5 hrs)
Desert sunrise at the dunes. Post breakfast drive back to Jodhpur. En route optional stop at Pokhran (India's nuclear test site museum) or Barmer. Overnight in Jodhpur.
Jodhpur → Udaipur (260 km | ~5 hrs)
Morning departure from Jodhpur. Scenic drive back through the Aravalli range. Optional stop at Kumbhalgarh Fort — where the Great Wall of India stands (83 km walls). Arrive Udaipur by evening.
