Day-by-Day Itinerary
Pickup from Jodhpur | Local City Tour & Stay (~30–35 km local)
Pickup from Jodhpur Airport / Jodhpur Junction Railway Station and begin your sightseeing tour of Jodhpur, famously known as the Blue City of Rajasthan. The city is known for its magnificent forts, royal palaces, and vibrant local markets that reflect the rich heritage of the Marwar region. During the day explore the major attractions of Jodhpur before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Jodhpur → Jaisalmer | Sam Sand Dunes Experience (~280 km | ~5–6 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Jaisalmer, popularly known as the Golden City of Rajasthan. Upon arrival proceed to the desert camp located near the famous Sam Sand Dunes. In the evening enjoy an exciting camel safari across the golden sand dunes and witness a breathtaking sunset over the Thar Desert. Later experience traditional Rajasthani hospitality with folk music, cultural dance performances, and dinner at the desert camp.
Longewala Border – Haunted Village – Khaba Fort Excursion (~120–140 km round trip)
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion around Jaisalmer exploring historic and mysterious desert sites. Visit the famous Longewala War Memorial, which commemorates the historic battle of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Later explore the abandoned Kuldhara Village, known for its mysterious past and often referred to as the haunted village of Rajasthan. Continue to Khaba Fort, an ancient fort offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding desert landscape and deserted village ruins. Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Jaisalmer Local City Tour → Jodhpur Drop (~280 km | ~5–6 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer, exploring its magnificent forts, historic havelis, and scenic lakes. Known for its golden sandstone architecture, the city reflects the royal desert heritage of Rajasthan. After completing the tour, drive back to Jodhpur and drop at Jodhpur Airport / Jodhpur Junction Railway Station with memorable experiences of the desert tour.
