After completing the darshan, trek back to Janki Chatti and drive back to Barkot for overnight stay.
Barkot → Uttarkashi (~100 km | ~3.5–4 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Uttarkashi, the base camp for Gangotri Dham. The route offers stunning views of the Bhagirathi River valley and dense Himalayan forests. The route passes through the towns of Tehri, Srinagar (Garhwal), and Rudraprayag — one of the Panch Prayags where the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers meet. Upon arrival at Guptkashi, check in at the hotel. Visit the Vishwanath Temple and Ardhnareshwar Temple located in Guptkashi before retiring for the night.
Guptkashi → Sonprayag → Kedarnath Trek (~30 km drive + 16 km trek)

Begin the approximately 16 km trek through the scenic Mandakini valley leading to Kedarnath Dham situated at an altitude of 3,583 metres. Seek the divine blessings of Lord Shiva at the ancient Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. Overnight stay at Kedarnath or return to Gaurikund.
Kedarnath → Return to Guptkashi (~16 km trek + 30 km drive)
