You may also visit the Mansa Devi Temple and Chandi Devi Temple by ropeway.
Haridwar → Rishikesh Sightseeing → Guptkashi (~295 km | ~8–9 hrs)
After breakfast, visit the famous spiritual town of Rishikesh — the Yoga Capital of the World. Explore the iconic Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula suspension bridges, Triveni Ghat, and the serene ashrams of Rishikesh. Continue the long but scenic drive towards Guptkashi via Devprayag and Rudraprayag. Upon arrival at Guptkashi, check in at the hotel and visit the Vishwanath Temple in the evening.
Guptkashi → Sonprayag → Kedarnath Trek (~30 km drive + 16 km trek)
Early morning drive from Guptkashi to Sonprayag and then a shared jeep to Gaurikund — the starting point of the Kedarnath trek. Begin the approximately 16 km trek through the breathtaking Mandakini valley to Kedarnath Dham situated at an altitude of 3,583 metres. Seek the divine blessings of Lord Shiva at the ancient Kedarnath Temple — one of the 12 Jyotirlingas and one of the most sacred pilgrimage destinations in India. Overnight stay at Kedarnath or Gaurikund.
Kedarnath → Return to Guptkashi (~16 km trek + 30 km drive)
Early morning attend the Kedarnath Temple morning aarti in the divine Himalayan atmosphere. After the aarti and completing the darshan, begin the trek back to Gaurikund. Take a shared jeep to Sonprayag and then the cab to Guptkashi. Optional stop at Chopta en route — a scenic Himalayan hamlet offering stunning views and the base for the Tungnath Temple trek (weather permitting). Overnight stay at Guptkashi.
Guptkashi → Pipalkoti (~95 km | ~3.5–4 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Pipalkoti via Joshimath. En route visit Joshimath — the gateway to Badrinath, Auli ski resort, and the Valley of Flowers. Visit the ancient Narasimha Temple at Joshimath established by Adi Shankaracharya. Continue to Pipalkoti — a comfortable base for the Badrinath visit. Check in at the hotel and relax.
Pipalkoti → Badrinath Darshan → Pipalkoti (~100 km round trip | ~6–7 hrs)
Early morning drive from Pipalkoti to Badrinath Dham at 3,133 metres on the banks of the Alaknanda River. Seek the divine blessings of Lord Vishnu at the sacred Badrinath Temple. Take a holy dip in the Tapt Kund hot spring located near the temple. Visit the nearby Mana Village — the last Indian village before the Indo-Tibetan border — and explore Vyas Gufa and Bhim Pul. After completing the darshan, drive back to Pipalkoti for overnight stay.
Pipalkoti → Haridwar / Rishikesh (~270 km | ~8–9 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and drive back towards Haridwar. En route make a stop at Devprayag — the sacred confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers forming the holy Ganga. Visit Rishikesh for a quick darshan at Triveni Ghat. Continue to Haridwar and check in at the hotel. In the evening attend the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri for a spiritual conclusion to the yatra.
